DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 900 PM MDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Six-E was located near latitude 17.0 North, longitude 114.4 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 17 mph (28 km/h), and this general motion is forecast to continue for the next few days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. The system could become a tropical storm at any time during the next day or two, but substantial strengthening is not expected.
