Role description summary Monitor, operate, and support all of companys Sports Events global and domestic content distribution services. Perform occasional use services uplink, downlink, conversion, turnarounds etc. for the companys customers. Primary responsibilities key result areas Configure, test and execute Occasional Use feeds via Satellite, Fiber, or OTT Maintain and operate high end technical equipment and troubleshoot and fix technical issues Quality check feeds and recorded material to ensure it meets SES specifications Customer support initial point of contact for all companys clients during events responding via email, phone, and monitoring systems Supervise the functioning of technical components and make sure that they are active and problem free Accountable for managing events and ensuring that they are resolved while maintaining a clear, accurate, detailed record of any issues or faults, methods used to solve them, and communicating them to key parties Manage escalation process through to resolution including coordination with inhouse engineers and 3rd parties Competencies Ability to execute several complicated tasks simultaneously Ability to operate under pressure and in a stressful environment Qualifications Experience REQUIRED Basic computer skills Ability to work shift rotation, minimum 5 shifts per week including nights, weekends and holidays per scheduling needs PREFERRED 2year degree or equivalent combination of experienceeducation in RF, satellite, video andor electronics Practical engineering experience Experience with broadcast equipment Technical or customer support experience Sports knowledgeinterest WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?
