Wynn Las Vegas announced a 41 percent diversion rate of waste to landfill. Along with Encore Las Vegas, the company's properties in the city feature two luxury hotel towers with a total of 4,748 hotel rooms, suites, and villas. The company reported that trained employees and expert partners hand-separate recycling, compost, and reusables from landfill materialmaximizing the quantity of recovered material.
