US Q1 in brief - Wolverine World Wide, Weyco Group, Carter's

In the latest first-quarter filings from US apparel and footwear brands and retailers, footwear maker Weyco has posted lower sales and earnings and expects the shutdowns and global economic slowdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic to continue to adversely impact its businesses during 2020. Elsewhere, Carter's CEO Michael Casey said the crisis will weigh on the growth it had planned this year as the firm reported a net loss for the first quarter.
