US Apparel Imports in 2020: China vs. Rest of World (Quarterly Report)

2021-03-04 19:09:16| EmergingTextiles.com

China's share of the US apparel import market has significantly declined in 2020, over a negative impact on Washington's additional tariffs. Unit values of Chinese products have plunged, with China's share more clearly declining in value terms than in volume terms. Our quarterly report compares US apparel imports from China with shipments from the Rest of the World (RoW) for every category of products in volume, value, and unit value terms. Historical data cover the first three quarters in the past five years, from 2015-20.
