Summary An exciting opportunity for an experienced systems engineer to join the Telespazio VEGA UK team, working onsite at ESTEC supporting systems and Concurrent Engineering CE Objective The candidate will be working in the TEC Directorate, supported by specialists, and in close cooperation with DTEC engineers, ESA trainees and external experts. Responsibilities Duties In particular, the individual will support activities within the section, including Development, implementation and adoption in Projects of ModelBased System Engineering MBSE Systems engineering modelling Concurrent engineering tools methods Technology developments enhancing adoption of MBSE practices The activities will be in the area of Systems engineering, including support to Projects applying or willing to apply MBSE methods, tools and standards to support MBSE tools and infrastructure development maintenance in support to systems and concurrent engineering modelling including CE tools like OCDT Qualifications Experience University Masters degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physics or other related subject Strong background in Model Based Systems Engineering Essential Skills Experience in multidisciplinary system modelling, using data modelling languages e.g. Unified Modelling LanguageSystem Modelling Language SysML and associated modelling applications e.g. MagicDraw, Capella, Enterprise Architect, or comparable modelling languages as well as supporting tools Knowledge of objectoriented programming in e.g. Java, data science and data reporting tools e.g. Jupyter notebooks, systems engineering and missions analysis or other systemsrelated disciplines engineering tools e.g. MATLAB, STK, MathCad, Catia, etc. Experience in requirements management and verification engineering Ability to work independently and to establish good working relations with ESA Qualities Good organisational skills Sound judgement, Resourcefulness, Team spirit Good communication skills Please apply through our careers portal httpscareer2.successfactors.eusfcareerjobreqcareer?jobId423companytelespazio
