For permanent employment the Propulsion Systems department at OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a Propulsion Subsystem Engineer mfd Your Tasks Chemical Propulsion Systems engineer to support development of new spacecraft Coordination of requirements and technical interfaces within the satellite platform and with the subcontractor Performing analyses to size and support design of subsystem Support design choices by equipment and engineering model tests in laboratory Design, test setup and procure necessary test equipment Generation of technical documentation, e.g. specifications, trades, analyses, reports Planning, coordination and control of development, analysis and test activities Definition of the verification philosophy on subsystem and component levels and specification of test requirements for platform testing Technical management of procurement activities for subsystem and equipment from suppliers, with support by the central Supply Chain Management organization within OHB System Support to subsystem MAIT activities Your Qualifications Degree in aerospace engineering, physics or comparable qualification Some years of professional experience in space industry in the propulsion domain or similar Excellent conceptual and analytical skills. Experience with simulation software tools AIT experience, in particular test experience with pressurized systems would be of advantage Experience with chemical propulsion systems and its fluidic equipment is an asset Accustomed to work in teams with welldeveloped communication skills Ideally, experience in ESA or commercial satellite development projects Experience in System Engineering and Requirements Engineering Fluent in written and spoken English, German language skills are advantageous
