RHEA is currently recruiting a Project Management Support to support the EPSSG Ground Segment Team at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Coordinate and maintain, in relation with the project control team, the Ground Segment Project Management Plan, Team Organisation Chart, Work Breakdown Structure WBS, Work Packages, Product Tree, and related documents Contribute to follow up subsystem development activities monitor deliverables to and from EUMETSATs partner agencies and industry, and support the review of deliverables Participate in team management meetings and in meetings with partner agencies, contractors, internal stakeholders, etc. as appropriate Track progress against agreed development plans and signal any likely or identified deviations from these plans, together with proposals to reduce the impact of any delays Contribute to the preparation and execution of the Project Reviews from a management standpoint Prepare presentations and synthetic status reports for internal e.g. report to senior management and external purposes Contribute to maintaining the project schedule in coordination with EPSSG team members and performing a critical path analysis of the schedule Track actions and risks, analysing and reporting critical issues to the Project Manager, and support the close out of such actions and risk mitigation activities Support the control of the baseline definition of the ground segment including evaluation of Change Requests, Change Proposals, Requests for Waiver Deviation, etc. Support on a case by case basis the other Programmes within the LEO Division in Project management support activities. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree At least 3 years experience performing project management activities preferably on large and complex development projects in the aerospace or similar domain Ability to analyse complex situations, identify critical areas and produce accurate and concise analyses, recommendations and synthesis. Ability to fulfil the assigned tasks autonomously, be able to plan hisher work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks and work in a rigorous way to agreed deadlines. Heshe shall be willing to work in a team of engineers and in cooperation with industry and partner agencies. Ability to make synthesis from various written or verbal inputs with excellent English writing skills Computer skills with strong experience withability to use MS Office software e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, etc.. The following skills would be highly desirable Certification in project management or in project management disciplines Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures and processes Knowledge of systems development lifecycle Experience of Ground Segment development andor Earth Observation systems How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
