PTA prices have mostly declined in the last seven days in China and India, whereas MEG prices were staying firm overall. Polyester prices are returning to lower levels, after experiencing a sudden rise in October. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
