Polyester chain prices are now falling in Asia, over a significant decline of crude oil futures and a rise in inventory levels in China. With a resurgence in Covid-19 cases in Europe and the United States, demand could be weaker than expected. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
