Cotton yarn prices have not declined in the past week in India, although falling further in China and Pakistan, and on the international market. Our weekly report covers fiber prices, including cotton, polyester, and viscose. A large number of yarn prices are also reviewed every week, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, 100% viscose, and 100% acrylic. Organic and BCI cotton fiber and yarn prices are available. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra), and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices to assess the latest trends in margins of Indian spinners.
