India Fiber and Yarn Markets (Weekly Report)

2020-06-24 20:10:03| EmergingTextiles.com

Yarn prices have remained mostly stable in the last week in India, with a few offers being lowered, however. The fall in yarn prices has been limited by a drop in operating rates in the last months, as margins were negatively affected by the pandemic. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
