Data from the ongoing Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter mission indicate that Zeta's maximum sustained winds are now near 110 mph (175 km/h) with higher gusts. A wind gust to 48 mph (78 km/h) was recently reported at Houma, Louisiana, and a wind gust to 46 mph (74 km/h) was reported at New Orleans Lakefront Airport.
