Currency Trends in Emerging Countries: Jan-Feb 2020 (Monthly Report)

2020-03-03 19:09:34| EmergingTextiles.com

The COVID-19 outbreak could depress currency values in low-income countries as a current rebound in inflation rates will be fueled further by a fall in interest rates to revamp ailing economies. Export prices could be lowered, depending on the rise in labor costs in the meantime. Our monthly statistical report covers the past two years and displays a comprehensive view of currency values against the US dollar but also compared with the euro, the British pound, the Indian rupee, the Pak. Rupee, and the Chinese renminbi over the last three years.
