Position Reference 695 We are currently looking for the right candidate to provide support to the European Commission for establishment of its crisis management organisation. For this task, our client the European Commission seeks support to the establishment of its crisis management organisation by a candidate with experience in the domain of crisis management of critical servicesinfrastructures, which could include definition and validation of Business Continuity Plans and associated crisis communication plan. We are looking for subject matter experts having general expertise in security matters and specific expertise in Space programmes exploitation activities. The required support relates to security activities for EGNOS and other space programmes such as GOVSATCOM, COPERNICUS, Space Situational Awareness SSA as well as security support to defence, quantum and general security activities. This position is based in Brussels, Belgium at the EC or you could also be located remotely with possibility to travel on missions to Brussels. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Crisis management cell operational interfaces and procedures definition. Establishment of crisis management cell training plan. Definition of yearly crisis management cell simulation scenarios and planning. Organisation of simulation campaigns. Establishment of crisis communication plan. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory A relevant University Education. Over 10 year of experience working in the tasks mention above. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and French. Organised, dynamic and proactive. Due to the nature of the work, must be a member of the EU Member States.
