Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton prices have surged further in the last week on the international market, due to an expected fall in US cotton areas in the current year. Spinners do not accept the rise in prices, however, as cotton fundamentals have remained extremely bearish, when considering the global offer and demand. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India, Pakistan, and Brazil are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
