Main Responsibilities The postholder will focus on the below main responsibilities Provide expert technical support and consultancy to ESA projects and programmes regarding passive components throughout all project phases Participate in project reviews and evaluation of procurement proposals Contributing to the definition of technology development requirements and work plans for the Agencys technology programmes Defining, initiating and managing RD activities Supporting technology domainrelated standardisation activities ESCC, ECSS Initiating and monitoring laboratory activities including preparation of test plans and reviews of test reports, handson laboratory activities as required Contributing to the dissemination of the results of the activities performed and the transfer of knowledge across the Agency Successful Candidate The successful Candidate will bring University degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics or equivalent Applicants should have four or more years of experience in EEE passive part engineering, preferably for space applications By passive parts it is understood components such as capacitors,resistors, inductors, connectors, transformers, wires and cables, cable assemblies, fuses, switches, relays, piezoelectric devices and thermistors and also RF passive devices such as circulators and isolators, attenuators, loads, couplers and dividers Important additional assets would be Experience in general EEE support for Space projects Important Any offer of employment is contingent upon you providing documents to verify your identity and employment eligibility, as required by law.
