Bangladesh Apparel Exports in 3rd Quarter 2019 (Quarterly Report)

2020-01-14 20:11:19| EmergingTextiles.com

Apparel exports from Bangladesh have begun dropping in the last months of 2019, after the minimum wage has been significantly increased at the end of 2018, resulting in higher prices. Sales to Germany have plunged, reflecting the impact of a weaker euro. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive view of Bangladesh's clothing exports in the 3rd quarter 2015-2019, including volume, value, and unit value changes per destination. Data also include US and EU clothing imports from Bangladesh per product category, whereas a comprehensive benchmark comparison between Bangladesh and other countries of origin is also released. All data are available for download.
