Position Reference 426 We are currently looking for an Expert in Artificial Intelligence AI to work in the city of Frascati, Italy. The AI Expert will become part of multidisciplinary team supporting one of our clients in improving Earth Observation EO data exploitation though the use of AI and cloud environments in the frame of the support to ESA science and philab departments. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Contribution to the creation of AI based detection systems for the production of information of the impact of COVID19 using EO data and EO Exploitation Platform. Acting as a focal point for AI related tasks for all other projects which are supported by the team. Performing a range of tasks across the lifecycles of future and operational programmes in support of our clients in contributing to Analysis of AI architectures and applications for specific tasks Development of AI prototypes to rapidly assess new ideas Preparation of training dataset. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in computer science, geoinformatics or a technical field that provides similar competences. 24 years of experience in applying AI and Machine Learning for the creation of applications. The following skills would be desirable Demonstrable experience in applying Machine Learning techniques in the EO domain. Demonstrable experience in High Throughput Computing, High Performance Computing, Cloud Computing stack, Big Data or other distributed computing technologies. Knowledge of ECSS, PMI, ITIL or other project management standards. Knowledge of Exploitation Platform programme. How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
