Dutch FMC revenues up 15% in Q2 as subscribers pass 3 million

(Telecompaper) Over 4 in 10 Dutch multiplay subscribers now take fixed and mobile services from the same provider, according to Telecompaper's Dutch Multiplay Market report for Q2 2020. FMC's share of revenues on the multi-play market is even higher, at over 54 percent. In Q2, fixed-mobile subscriptions generated EUR 705 million in revenues, up 15 percent year-on-year.

Dutch quad-play market nears saturation in Q1, VodafoneZiggo matches KPN in FMC subscribers

Dutch consumer multi-play revenues grow 4.5% on shift to quad-play, FMC bundles

(Telecompaper) The triple-play or 'All-in-1' package has long been the most popular bundle in the Dutch market. However, more and more consumers are turning to quad-plays, driven by increased marketing of the offers by VodafoneZiggo and T-Mobile. The triple-play fell to 48.9 percent of multi-play households in Q2, down nearly 3 percent points from a year earlier, while quad-play increased its market share 2.3 points over the same period to 27.3 percent.

European mobile prices down slightly in Q1 as FMC becoming more common

(Telecompaper) The costs of a mobile SIM-only plan have generally come down in most countries in Western Europe in the past year, according to the latest research by Telecompaper. The annual comparison of mobile prices across 16 countries also shows that in most countries operators are including more and more data in postpaid plans, without a major increase in prices. In the survey of more than 1,400 plans available on the market, the Telecompaper Q1 2018 EU Benchmark report found that Denmark remains the cheapest place for a mobile plan in all comparisons, and Greece and Portugal the most expensive.
