(Telecompaper) Sky Deutschland is offering a new way to experience its content, with the standalone online TV service Sky Online. Anyone without a traditional Sky subscription can register at www.skyonline.de to watch a selection of the latest series, films and exclusive live sports on the internet, iPad and iPhone. As part of a strategic partnership with the American streaming provider Roku, Sky has also developed its own streaming box, which upgrades a TV set into a smart TV. Customers will be able to instantly stream the complete Sky Online and Snap programming catalogue to the television.
