NAM Applauds House for standing with manufacturers on TPA.

NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons called U.S. House of Representatives approval of legislation to authorize Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), "a victory ... for all Americans." Timmons applauded those who "put politics aside and decisively acted to increase U.S. competitiveness and to open opportunities with the 95 percent of customers living outside our borders." On behalf of manufacturers, Timmons ended calling upon Senate quickly get this measure to President Obama.
